This SUNDAY, August 23rd at 4pm, The Black Rock Coalition proudly pays tribute to four powerful forces - Eartha Kitt, Abbey Lincoln, Miriam Makeba, and Odetta - taking inspiration from monumental performances in each of their careers and honoring women from across the entire African Diaspora, featuring Jayne Cortez, Tamar-Kali, Abena Koomson, Alkebulan, and others. JUST ADDED AS A SPECIAL GUEST: Guitar LEGEND Beverly Guitar Watkins!
The performance will take place at The Damrosch Park Bandshell @ Lincoln Center - 65th Street and Broadway - and its ABSOLUTELY FREE!
