Join VenusSings.com and Friends for the next Bilingual Poetry night produced by radio DJ, digital storyteller and cultural navigator Reza Clifton. This month’s edition is dedicated to celebrating Asia and Pacific Islander cultures and features Indonesian-born Blues Singer/Songwriter, Agus Lele!
The night also includes an open mic for poets, storytellers, and other lyricists and performers sharing works in English, Hmong, Khmer, Spanish and/or any language of their choosing. Plus music by DJ Reza Wreckage (of VenusSings.com, Isis Storm, WRIU, and BSRLive.com).

About Venus Sings /Reza Clifton / Reza Rites / Reza Wreckage
Reza Clifton has many nicknames because she is a writer, multimedia producer, music blogger and DJ, and community organizer from Providence, RI. She hosts two radio shows, including one that airs weekly, and she is the co-founder of Isis Storm (IsisStorm.com), a collective of female artists and writers. In 2011, she was named “Most Musical” and a “Trender” by two Providence magazines for her work sharing music and art in the community. She has also been recognized for multimedia projects that appear on her flagship blog, RezaRitesRi.com; for written work and direction as health editor for She Shines, a regional women’s magazine in New England; and for leadership as a young professional and community organizer in Providence, Rhode Island.
She operates and/or blogs on several sites about race, gender, and poverty, and she enjoys examining the intersections between her adventures and interests as a DJ and her research, observations and collaborations with artists and diverse communities.
