The infamous year is upon us. Is it the beginning of the end or just another year that will pass as all the others have, leaving us and the Earth more or less in tack?
One thing I find interesting about the Mayan prediction is that it is claimed that the calander they used is more accurate than the one we use today. Eclipses have been predicted that have come to pass long after the Mayans left the stage of history and according to science crazy alignements of the sun and planets has happened before every 36,000 years, just as the Mayan calander predictied. So, to borrow a line from Night Of The Living Dead, "it's not just an ill wind passing through", we could be in for trouble.
Do I really believe we are doomed? What does it matter what I believe? That's not going to determine whether the world goes "boom" or not unless Quantum Mechanics is correct, then it might be ultimately in our hands as to what will or will not happen. I, however take comfort in the fact that the Mayans thought the first white men they saw were gods. They were wrong about this so maybe they are wrong about the end of the world too.
What say you AP, are we doomed or is this just more nonsense? I guess one way or another we will find out. I would imagine that if there is anything going on in the universe that is out of the ordinary, we will get wind of it from the scientific community long before the dreaded winter soltice. One thing is certain though: planets do die and sooner or later this one will to. Only forever is forever.

Maybe, maybe not. They could have found out other things as well, like how to advance, as a group to a higher dimension. I'm not saying that they did 'cause, fuck if I know but they were undoubtly very clever indeed if modern science says their calander is more accurate than the one we use today. Evidently they have been right about eclipses which have occured on time as their calander said they would.
As I've stated before: this is a little deeper than the y2k thing.

Hardly worried or preoccupied, I just find it interesting.
As for NWO, I've studied this and yes, I think it's for real. Usally the people who don't believe in this are people that never spent a minute looking into it. The only dire thing I have going on in my life is a desire to remain free. You are right: you don't know me.

this is a genuine question, with no harm intended (eventhough I don't know you):
why are you so pre-occupied with "doomsday"/"the end of the world"/and extreme negatives of society?
.
There's always gonna be something happening in our world. But, what does that have to do with you living your life?
The only people I've known that focus on all that New World Order (secrets that they can't even prove) stuff, are people that have something dire going on in their lives. The pressures of reality was too much for them, so they just shut off.
Worrying about what might happen will do nothing for you.
Debunked isn't the same thing as proving it wrong or untrue. How do you "debunk" Kennedy's statement concerning NWO? How do you debunk the belief that Oswald didn't kill Kenndy? Let's hear some of this knowledge you say you have since you're an old pro at this. Talk is cheap, say something constructive or...

thats a knee-jerk reaction.
I know more than you think I know. Everything you're talking about can be debunked. I've been privy to this kind of stuff way before the internet. To the point of ad nauseam, even.
Good luck.
