A Real Hero by College

Lately Garotos Podres (especially "Suburbio Operario"), Colera "Somos Vivos" (all this is 80ies Brazilian punk rock), Big Hutch "From Pomona With Love" mixtape....

Have been listening to the first Forbidden album for about 2 weeks straight.

Besides that the following radio tunes I'm loving...

Drake-Anything besides Take Care

Flo Rida-The Wild One

Adele-Rumors

The album Unquestionable Presence by Atheist. Progressive Death Metal.

jacqueline du pre ... a tiny bit overrated and her legend colors how her fans describe her i suppose.  i do love the elgar cello concerto she's famous for interpreting.

...

That was phenomenal.

Right now I'm listening to "Triumphant" by Royksopp.

more du pre....the entire elgar cello conerto, but under that guy who isn't daniel barenboim...lol. i'm awful. too many fucking ppl to remember when talking about which actual recording you're referring to.

also some random album of franz schubert's string quintet in c-major....i'm thinking of tracking down the sheet music and dedicating a year to playing this is if i can find four other string players. lol...so that won't happen.

.

in non-classical la la land: i have that heligoland album by massive attack from two years ago on repeat.  i had got the album a long time ago for that hope sandoval song but the whole album is good imo.  especially the song Pray for Rain w/ Tunde from TV on the Radio (i just googled the song, damn, i'm just late in loving this track b/c most folks were on it in 2009 when it was released on some EP, lol.)

anyone have the tv on the radio x tinariwin collaboration album? i'm in the mood to buy it when i have money lying around to get it, but they did a promo for it on some tv show and i wasn't so impressed *shrugs*

Maximum Confidence-Jack Canfield

Grinderman - no pussy blues

^^oh yeah that joint is the bizness. it's on the old afropunk compilation cd. there's some really good songs on there that I still listen to. I think that band broke up. i could be wrong. Right now I'm rockin the new Killer Mike album produced by El-p. Shits hot so far, I also copped the new El-p album as well, prolly throw that joint on later. El-p's stuff is always on point.

The Pink Room by David Lynch.
