AFRO-PUNK

... the other Black experience

Is anyone on Afro punk in to Ska or Ska core or Ska punk or 4th wave ska core?
Ive been into ska for so many years and i havent seen many other black kids in ska bands on the east coast especially in the south east. I used to play in a ska band in LA with All hispanic kids and one other black kid.

I love first and second wave ska, anything after that is garbage pop.
Because Ska isnt punk.

Ska mostly sucks. Why don't folks just listen to REAL Punk, instead? If i wanna hear something with saxiphones, i'll listen to Jazz.
I love old ska from the late 50's through the late 60's, some of the bands from the 80's and the ones from the 90's and this decade are only four:  Hepcat, Mobtown, Aggrolites, The Specs, The Bullets.  Two of these bands no longer exist.  Out of them all Hepcat are THE BEST.  Who'd you play with in LA, Chexas Chainsaw?  You probably know everybody already!!
