In school I was the token black. but I went to all white schools.
My group of friends we are all different races but only 3 of my friends are white. So I am no longer the token my white friend who sits at my lunch table is the actual token....

but im lucky thou. I am have BOMB ASS friends <3

I;m from canada. oh, I totally understand. I was also the only black person in the theatre Program lol smh.

I'm really accepting but seems like my own kind doesn't understand the way I dress and the different types of music I listen to. Like, they just think its weird and alot are just closed minded and its frustrating. I'm pretty sure living in a bigger city would allow me to meet people who are more open-minded and I'm sure I'd meet alot of black people who like different things as well. I have no black friends when I really think of it. Which makes me kinda mad?

yea haha its funny u say that cus thats what some of my friends call me.

Raises hand...especially relocating to Arkansas. U rock a skateboard, ur remembered for life lol

Depends on the situation, I have a few black friends more recently and at my first high school that I still keep in touch with. But sometimes at some of my classes, I am certainly the token black person.
