I can't believe that this "Vs." is real. I'm a huge fan of 70s and 80s mecha anime, and Tatsunoko Pro churned out some 5-star titles. Mo'fo'in Gatchaman in a fighter? That's insane! To bad there's no one reppin MOSPEADA or Macross.

Bobby, as a lover of 2D styled fighters, you just made my night, man. Thanks for the linkage.

i hear you bro with the macross; i also think capcom could've thrown some more characters in there too like bionic commando or forgotten worlds characters....

I think Capcom should go even more obscure, like busting out Super Joe from Commando.

You a big 2D fighter head? That's almost exclusively what I play when I have some down time. I freaking bought a Neo Geo a few years ago to serve mofos in King of the Fighters lol

Funny, I never really got into SF3, mainly because by the time it hit the arcades, my love of gaming had began to dwindle - plus I had no one to play with. Playing the CPU in a fighter I believe is the third level of hell.

Have you played the Fist of the Northstar fighter? I've yet to get me paws on it, but the vids look oh so sweet.
