is there any one in north carolina or near north carolina. trying to meet a few afropunks. my hometown is butner north carolina just north of durham. but im in school in greensboro at north carolina A&T.

So strange you posted this comment. I'm working on bringing the festival to Greensboro next August. Check out the festival pics to see what our little circus looks like. I'd love to speak to you about making the kids in NC aware of Afropunk. You could be one of our point people. wow bring it to greensboro. wooooooooooow. im not even originally from greensboro but. there are quite a few schools here. University of North Carolina Greensboro, Bennet College, Guilford Tech, Greensboro College, Guilford College and the best North Carolina Agricultural and Technical state university also known as A&T .(Aggie Pride). from what ive seen so far there are many afropunks on this campus there are a few here and there. ive seen a few skateboarders but thats about it. i havent been about town yet. its a very vibrant place. but what ever you need im there.

Cool I'm from Durham. But I'm currently attending Wingate University. I'm about an hour away from Charlotte ^_^ Alot of people from my high school went to A&T.

hey, yeah i live in Charlotte, i just moved here from Brookyln/ columbia, SC..and i havent seen that many afro punks in NC...i knew a few back in columbia...but yeah it would be awesome if AP came down to NC...

Well I am in Eastern NC although I am not from here. I helped my friend bring James Spooner and a screening of AfroPunk to East Carolina University this past Fall semester. It was pretty sweet. We talked to James about coming back for a screening of White Lies Black Sheep, but I no longer go to ECU and my girl is going to graduate soon. But we have some pull at that school, so hopefully we can get it done. It would be cool to have more AP stuff in NC
