I'm planning a parody dub of Lupin the Third with music from The Yellow Shark from Frank Zappa and the Ensemble Modern. But yeah, most of the time, you can't go wrong with anime and manga

Speed Racer wasn't even successful when it debuted in Japan back in the late 60s. Compared to all that Go Nagai Speed was whack.

And I've been slipping on my anime and manga but only because I don't like most of the newer stuff and the titles I do want to check out are (no longer) available in english.

I'm an anime fan, but I wouldn't call myself an otaku *shivers* Otaku's usually have been described to me as very very creepy people. Yea, also heard that it's a derogatory term in Japan.

I have yet to read many issues of the GTO manga, nor watch the anime. BUT I watched the Live Action show and LOVED it. I also have it on DVD. It's just so awesome :)

Yeah otaku are creepy. Like the sweaty guy with shifty eyes who LIVES for Takako Inoue photobooks.
