What a sad story. I feel for the father and the adoptive parents. I think the mother should be arrested and then sued by the adoptive parents for pain and suffering. My only argument against the father would be would it be in the child's best interest to go with him, seeing as how he is an active member of the military? It's hard to be a single parent, but it's even harder when you are a part of the Armed Forces. I'm not saying that his employment makes him less of a capable parent, but it may hinder the little girls development. He can't just drop everything and get to her in the event of an emergency or stay at home with her while she's sick because he has to meet the needs of the military.
