AFRO-PUNK

... the other Black experience

So I get pretty annoyed when I flip through tattoo magazines or other alternative magazines that feature alt models with beautiful body mods and ink but none of them are ever black. It's really fucking annoying. The closest to finding a minority is a latin woman and most of them are of the european persuasion.

Remember Inked? That publication from back in the day dedicated to black people? It only lasted about two issues.

I saw a couple profiles on here for sites like blacque widow dolls and primordial punk but they don't even exist anymore *sighs* anyone know where I can find publications/websites featuring alt black women or do they even exist?!

I totally agree with that - I wish there were more alternative magazines with black models. Sounds like a good business idea, though. =P

Hmmm... Perhaps. I constantly look in magazines and feel like I can't truly relate. That or I'm reading the wrong damn magazines. lol.

The only one I can think of is suicide girl cause I know (for awhile anyways) they were trying to recruit more black girls for the site. That being said if you don't find one why not make one? It would be sick to have a site not just for black girls, but indians, latinos etc that are alt.
