... the other Black experience

I've been riding fixed gear bicycles for about a year and a half now. I've run into and talked to a handful of other black guys who ride fixed, but never seen (not even pictures) of a black chick riding fixed. What do you ride? Give me the breakdown.

Yeah I live in Peoria right now about 2 hours south of chicago. I moved here, and the fixed gear scene was just setting off. I have an 80's Schwinn Conversion that I sold off and a Specialized Langster that I have a love hate relationship with. I managed to get it wholesale, so i could easily part it out and make back what I spent, its kinda ugly, but its lighter than the other track frames you can get for the price. I have a Surly Steamroller frame that I'm building up right now too. I ride brakeless, and its super hilly here, but I manage. Can be scary at times on big hills, but I run a low enough gear to not really worry.

Most of my friends have shitty bikes direct bikes that they customized (look badass, but my one friend's motobecane is a POS, its Bottom bracket creaked right out of the box. WIndsor Hour is good though.

i was checking out chicago's craigslist listing for bikes in chicago, and some of those bikes are just.....wow. i wish i lived there, but worried i'd look like a poser on one of those.
I was curious about turning an old10 speed into a fixie. What's all the fuss about fixed gears for? Tons of Hipsters in DC just love 'em.
Its just the cool thing to do right now I guess, But U just love the feel of 'em, I own three at the moment, one for the oad and just cruising around, a fixed gear mountain bike for shitty shitty weather, and my new Pista Concept for the track(and cruising a bit)
yeah, i ride fixed.
About to buy a fixed bike REALLY SOON!!!
this is just some light shit. bianchi fixed gear conversion ridin' on oreo cookies (white rim deep v's with black spokes)
