Damn, that is a hard ass choice. Two of my all time favorite bands. I've seen both of them on many occassions. Even saw Peter moon the Houston crowd, but I'd have to go with Bone. To me they started the whole black rock funk thing for me and without them, there would never have been the peppers, colour and maybe even Spyz.

Now I know there were others before, but for me they started it.....
FISH-BONE!
Hands down. The 'bone were the most underrated and unappreciated bands of all time. 24-7 Spyz were ok, but their body of work can't even touch Fishbone's.

The clip of Fishbone was from their peak. When they were at the top of their game, right after they released "Reality of my Surroundings". To see them live was like being at a kick ass party, it was an experience.
So, my vote goes to Fishbone!
Spyz are great, but like Ibrother said, Fishbone paved the way, have a bigger catalog, rip more styles, etc.
I have to say, Fishbone kicked perfect live onstage. I bet they still do.
I must however thank Temba for telling me about 247 Spyz in the first place.
You can't compare. I dig 'em both. John Connelly's Theory (24-7 Spyz) is a great riff and Fishbone is fuckin' Fishbone!
