Hey guys,
It's been a long time since I visited this site, but I'm checking back in. I've been listening to a bit of jazz lately, mostly jazz with guitar in it. And I've been wondering if anyone knows of some modern-day black jazz guitarists I could listen to? Or maybe some jazz-rock or fusion bands with black people?
So far I've heard some nice jazz by black guitarists like Bobby Broom and Russell Malone (as well as other non-blacks like Pat Metheny, Steve Khan, Larry Coryell, Allan Holdsworth etc...), and I'm interested in discovering more.....

Permalink Reply by Rosenda on January 28, 2013 at 7:09pm Well I don't know too many specifically by name, Marcus Miller, Stanley Clarke, and that's because I read a couple articles about some music I heard that mentioned them. Maybe there are some other jazz heads in the Jazz group!
