... the other Black experience

Black people bitching about what can Obama really do........STOP HATING on your BROTHER!!!!!

I am getting pretty tired of hearing the random haters (black republicans, lazy mofos that won't register and vote, perpetual complainers, etc.) about the campaign promises, experience, and sincerity of Barrack Obama. You have got to be fucking kidding me???!!!!! This man did something that I did not think I would see in my lifetime, raised in the south, being called a 'nigger' and picked on, being harassed by cops and now in my short 31 years, i have seen a BLACK MAN (let the creoles call it....mulatto) win the electorial vote at 338 to 156? i have never seen a ratio so steep in all the years i have volunteered, worked for the advancement of Democracy and Black people. You cant be serious.....
Among all the love and Black/Brown pride last night, there were random negative spewers talking about, "now you better do something for us, nigga!" or "im the next prez!" In the words and accent of Katt Williams, "that is some bulle shieet". Stop hatin' on a man that is carrying the world n his shoulders, having to think constantly about threats, and how he is going to improve our situation here in America. He is married to a REAL, Black woman. The kind we knew as kids who held it down supporting the Black family, women like my grandmother. He knew what a strong Black woman could be and he made sure he showed that to the world when he chose he as his wife.
We need to unify and support each other in ALL of our endeavors, dreams, victories, road blocks/set backs. Take a look at yourself, reflect, and expunge the hate in your life. Kwitcherbitchin!!!!!!!!!!

Y'know, those kind of people have always been hating and criticizing. They're all irrelevant.
Barack has to clean up an 8 year mess. It'll take some time. Be patient, all you Black people!
Fuckin'haters!!!They can eat wildlife balls!!
Yes I agree with you about the dumb shit people say.And I am proud ,excited and will bask in the symbolism that Obama being elected represents. But I believe that the main lesson we should have learned from all of this is to keep a tight hold on your ability to think critically not only for yourself but for Obama too. To not do so would be blind faith and that is a dangerous thing. I mean why do you use a alarm clock. Because you don't trust yourself to wake up on time.
This is y i luv all y'all afropunk peoples, because i knew u would understand. my 85 year old grandfather said that this was the best news he has ever heard, and he was in belgium for the ending of world war 2. the rest of the world needs 2 stop and realize what we already know.

wildlife balls......roflmao! live, and uncut

jervon...this is the scenario style im talking 'bout.....these mofo's that don't do a got-damn thing.
This is exactly what I wanted to say!!! I told my daughter that this is something that she can tell her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren about, she was in the booth with me, when I cast my vote in the most important and historical election in the entire history of the U.S. People in MY life (not just the folks on TV) were calling all day, crying, screaming, texting, emailing....people I haven't spoken to in months or years, people all across the U.S. It was the first time I've ever EVER felt like something that was trully bigger than anything I'd ever experienced, something that connected people around the world. I was so fucking proud and happy for him and his family. I'm glad they are comparing them to Camelot (white people will eat that shit up), now I know how those who wanted Kennedy must have felt back then, X1billion.

After being dissapointed and dissillusioned in the last two elections, I was skeptical but hopeful that things could ever change. Pessimistic, bitter, cynical, jaded as I am I was fucking surprised at my own reaction. I was laughing, my eyes were watering, my chest felt like bursting. Sappy shit I know, that's why I was surprised. I didn't campaign for Obama, never expressed my opinions during the race, just went with my daughter to vote and thinking it could all go to shit just like it did the last two times I voted. I didn't think my vote would matter, and it didn't, I'm just one person in a fucking avalanche, but I did want to at least know for myself that I did vote this time. I mean I voted when it was two white poor choices, why not now when there was at least some WORTH voting for, even if those in power were to cook the books AGAIN and shit on the people.

It does matter what happens in the future, but the way I see it, new presidents have been unable to fix the messes they inherited AND/OR run this country into the fucking ground BEFORE. What has NOT happened before is the outpouring of international support and hope from both the people and leadership outside our borders. It's like the whole world has been bearing down for the last 8 years and can finally take a breath.

Fuck the haters, that shit was unbelievable, emotional and inspiring.

Ya know what? The fact is that Obama may not change the world the country or even the midwest . But what he stands for and what he has done will forever make me proud in this fuckin country . I can tell my kids" that there is someone like you". White people have had these models 4 ever . this is why they feel entitled to everything . We need to feel the same way . That is the Change I will make from this . I see someone like me that does not have to fall into america's stereotype of what a mixed man a black man a dark skinned non white person is . You can be every man or woman cuz thats what we are . Thats what I see . so fuck the naysayers . even if it don't last and they try to soil his term with a sex scandal or god forbid try to dead this man . The impact has been made . any black person on this planet now if they are true to heart can feel this shift . I feel fuckin alive for the first time in a long time .

Let's not confuse hate with real criticism, and political discourse with bitching. The Obama campaign was largely fueled by corporate money not small private donations and those corporations who backed him (Goldman Sachs) will want to see return on their investment. So its essential we remain critical and active in order to get what we need from this administration. Besides the fact Obama supports the death penalty, continued war in Afghanistan, a for profit health care industry, nuclear energy etc (all of which are far from progressive); his first appointee Rahm Emanuel is a die hard Zionist, and if that wasn't bad enough the front page of NYT yesterday was a statement asking Americans to lower "expectations". What kind of message does that send to all of us that voted for "change"? These are not good signs and are more than reason enough to be critical, and that critical viewpoint is best expressed through activism. We should avoid the your either for us or against us attitude, when it comes to celebrating the his historic achievement, and criticizing Obamas politics. Now is not the time to become silent or complacent in support of the Obama administration/ US government.

So if there's any of you that are active, or interested in activism let's connect and get to busy!
