... the other Black experience

Maybe I wasn't paying attention and this isn't a new phenomenon, but it seems like lately, there are shit load of black females that I know and that I see in public who are "swirling." Is this trend new or maybe it's just specific to certain areas of the country? I dunno. One of my best friends who's a black female has for the past several years almost exclusively dated whities, and we've almost made fun of her for it, but now some of the other black women who used to make fun of her with me are even dating white boys. WTF is up?

Don't see it that often. I see multiple Asian women/White dude combos almost daily.
It's still not as common as the Black guy w/ a white(or Asian) girl. I think Black women are just realizing that they have options. Why limit yourself? True love should be colorblind.
....why does it seem like IR threads dominated the boards this time last year.

i'unno what's happened but, yes, i think the IR w/ black women thing has gained traction w/ more mainstream black folks. *shrugs*
Well, this isn't a thread where I'm trying to condemn race mixers, it's just a discussion of a trend I've noticed lately.
it's not a big deal and ppl like justin timberlake and shia lebe....f got the pass by famous black women who dated/married and continue to date black men. *shrugs*

to my understanding,..... Black women aren't dating White men nowhere NEEEEAR as much as Black men are dating the whole rainbow. Fuck a swirl, Black men are doing the

besides, its bloody hard to find someone who you can relate to.
ya know what though,... trying to figure out why a person likes what they like is a waste of time.
LMAO

I said this one time. Didn't go over well. (Of course).

What's wrong with everybody? Why can't a black girl date a non-black man w/o getting made fun of for it? Do we have to wait up all nite for "our men" and only "our" men.

I've been mocked for looking outside of my race since highschool by friends and family. It actually got so annoying to me that I stopped mentioning who I was with because they would seriously try to "shame me out of it" by trying to make me feel bad for not prostrating myself for black men/boys (I'm serious, the negativity is unbelievable). I wonder, what would make them happy? Getting myself married to a much older black man? They never say anything to the many male relatives who've never even dated a black girl. I just don't get it. I do, actually. I'm just tired of dealing with it. I'm just tired of hearing the ignorance from people I have to tolerate.

Maybe I should get married to a much older black man. Just to see the looks on their faces. I think that should be my new goal. ...
race is irrelevant..
because not all black people listen to rap, not all asians watch anime, not all white people can't dance, not all latino people play soccer...
but we all like sex and food and music..

so mixing cultures is what is happening.. and that's great!
we'll all be much better off!
