BP oil spill

I hate the fucking media! Every popular news program is calling it Obama's Katrina. WFT??!!! I'm so sick of this shit! Sea turtles and birds and every other creature in ocean is slowly suffocating to death because of corporate greed that will never be punished and our indifference. Ecosystems will never be the same. Ride a bike for god sakes! I bet if BP executives were faced with losing their jobs and prison time the pipe would be fixed by now. Really. Something has to change. I think my head is gonna explode! Are people blind???!! Am I the only one who feels this way?!!

It pretty much "is". Like Bush, it's all of a sudden Obama's fault this happened, and yet, the idiots in charge of the damn thing we're pre-warned before time that something could happened. So does that mean Amy Goodman is as bad as the rest ov 'em? Here's some news for you: THEY'RE ALL BIAS! No media outlet is truely impartial. Atleast Democracy Now is bias in the right way.

I don't think this oil thing is as simple as everyone is making out, and I don't think BP is anymore 'evil' than the rest of humanity, especially us consumer in the so called 'developed' world who collectively and ultimately drive the machine which is destroying the biosohere.

If it wasn't for petroleum this website wouldn't be here. The internet wouldn't be here full stop. Our food wouldn't arrive at the supermarket.

America is one of the most oil dependent nation on the planet. FACT. If oil wasn't dug out the ground, a lot of people would starve. By its very nature, digging oil out the ground is dangerous and dirty. Its a miracle this kind of thing hasn't happened more...........

Until we are willing to adapt and create new ways of harvesting and using energy, we will be at the mercy of major corporations like BP. Until we take responsibility for producing our own CLEAN energy they will continue to pollute the planet in order to maintain their profit and power.

Google the terms 'micro-generation' and 'co-generation' and 'CHP' to see what i mean by our own energy. Its not in the interests of big business and governments to implement the neccessary legislation and funding for alternatives as it would de-base their power, LITERALLY.

Its up to us.
