When I was younger I thought I would never cheat on a woman because I was always in love with the women I was with. I was raised with morals that said "Good people don't cheat." Then I learned that lo and behold loving someone does not mean you will be immune to desiring another. As I got older I also met older married men and I found out that most of them when they were honest if given the opportunity would sneak out and get some. For a while I was pretty sure that only guys did that or women who were "'ho's". Nope. When I got a chance to have platonic female friends and a chance to talk to women in a non-judgemental space I learned that "good girls" will step out too and for a lot of the same reasons guys do. Now I am older I believe that there are way more people out there who have cheated than have not. So what's your opinion? Would you do it? Under what circumstances? Would you feel guilty? Would it be for the sex, the variety or for something emotional? Weekend fling or long term?

...it wouldn't be called cheating if you have an implicit or explicit agreement w/ your partner. communication should be as open as it should/could be and if a person can't keep it in their pants, then they need to be honest--and if one has little to no libido and can't even deign to fake it or make sure their partner gets off and they don't want to get divorced then they should give their partner a pass.
imo it's better to not act w/ the heaviness of unprocessed guilt or shame (this applies to cheaters and straight-identified men who have sex w/ men) because when you're clear minded you can get what you want, be considerate AND stay relatively safe in the process.
and folks in extreme circumstances where they're the primary caregiver of their partner who can no longer perform sexually...well they may not even need to tell their partner they're going elsewhere to get off so that they can be there for their sick partner.
