I've been to Coachella twice. I missed out on the last couple years. I heard there was gonna be a lot of no shows cuz' a lot of bands couldn't make it due to the flight restrictions from that volcano ash. I was wondering how that panned out. I did peep some of Jay-z's' performance online when he brought out B. Heard he performed at the same time as PIL and Lydon was pissed! It's cool that my homeboy Wale was there. Maybe I'll make it next year.
;_; that's so cute.
Coachella reminds me of beer. I had a sip and said "This can't be what people have been raving about." Prince has been the only act to ever make me consider going. But I'm not trying to hate on personal preferences.

What are some bands that stood out for you, Klash?
i'm in fucking new york ugghhhh!
some said it was a 'hipster fest' lol but i dont give a damn i want to go one day !
It is a hipsterfest but it's diverse. You've got the bonaroo hippie types, the jaded hipsters, goths, hip-hop-heads, ravers, it's an all around freakfest and it pretty much borders on if not embodies sensory overload. But it's worth making the sojourn at least once. The cali vibe is worth it for us east coast types that live all cramped up in the city. If nothing else you get to be around mountains and palm trees while enjoying some tunes. I think the beautiful spot in the desert is what makes it cool. And you are bound to like somebody on the line-up as it more or less covers most bases. Just make sure you dress for the heat and have plenty of water on hand.( The desert get's chilly at night though so be ready for that too.) A hotel would be nice as well. Book in advance way ahead or you can camp on the grounds. (The grass outside and a bustsop bench served as my beds the first year I went. Wouldn't recommend that though:/

Idk alot of people say alot of SHIT about every fest.. i honestly think its what you make it. i really enjoyed myself saw some of my fav bands play.. Thome Yorke, Deadmouse, JayZ, Gorillaz, Flying Lotus, POS, De la Soul, Wale, Corrine Bailey Ray, and 2 many djs, just to name a few. It was a really cool 3 days and so much shit happens.. lol and the night times there? INSANE. im def going back next year.
Seems like a solid line-up 2 me. Hell, what's not to like? Sounds like it was a damn party!
