This is a GOOD thing to you? It's really up to said POC wether or not Britian is good for them, I don't hear reports of them living in "distress".....
Gobalization, other than the lost of one countries self-identity , doesn't seem that bad (Keep in mind I'm one of the "sheep)
I'm just in a sour mood now......

Permalink Reply by Darkness Unlimited* on November 23, 2009 at 12:52am That one doctor, the "It's globalization11111" one, I kind of want to brick his house, especially with his last comment about how through surgery all races can achieve the appearance of a higher race. That race would be white dude based off of what I've seen here.
I can sympathize with some of these people to an extent. That lady, Jet, who started drawing away from other Black people after being attacked by a gang of Black girls, I had a similar experience and the lady who began to experiment with skin lighteners due to messages in her own culture and hated how dark she was, I've been there too. In the African American community where I lived lighter skin was considered more attractive and then to make matters worse, I got into the Gothic subculture with it's emphasis on pale white skin. I never used skin bleach, but I used to slather myself pretty heavily in sunblock, I wore long sleeves even in the summer and I have quite the collection of parasols. I still have a weirdness about sunlight. I also feel the lady who got the breast reduction. I too have very large breasts and I HATE them. I have a time finding clothes to fit and most guys seem to be repulsed by them. In fact, the only guys who I seem to attract lately are either a) white dudes with serious jungle fever and I'm the only black girl, b) dudes with serious big tit fetishes or c) creepy old dudes. I'm actually more envious of Asian girls boobs than Caucasian. I personally would love the idea of being small chested.
Ugh...plastic surgery could be used for all kinds of crazy neat things but, people decide to use it for looking like more of the same, for looking more White and all that infused that term with meaning.
So i've watched the 1st pt ov B,N,T, so far. It's a very good docu. And as expected, very depressing & typical, so far as the subject matter goes. Regarding that one model "Jet"... oi vey. What can i say? It's obvious that this woman suffers from severe mental illness on Malkinian proportions. The fact alone that a 28 yr old woman is STILL playing with barbie dolls tells me [pretty-much] everything i'd even want to know about the lunatic.
Is this what money does to people? yesh!
And the other woman, ov Bangladesh heiritage, who looks up to that child molester as some sort ov "hero", that's just ghoulish. And she has children too, how? Why?!

Permalink Reply by MissE on November 23, 2009 at 2:17pm "deracialization" is such a bullshit term...
people are idiots: skin color =/= beauty. crudely, it's facial symmetry and how well your features fit together.
(but yeah, it is tough being brown/black and into goth aesthetics though...y'know w/o looking ashy :P...sorry it was funny to me. :P)
and these ppl can't be serious about idolizing michael jackson's "transformation"...they producers probably asked them a leading q on jacko because who the hell wants to go to that extreme?
and omfg to the leg extension surgery. (lmao at the clicking...so gross and bizarre it's funny)
but, really, i'm not mad at these people because it must be so painful for them (either way)... and it's a shame to have so much sadness and anger pent up inside that your body is literally subjected to such violence for some (or a false sense of) peace of mind.
