i'm going to the festival 2morrow. How would I get to the park from NY Penn Station. I'm so confused...

Take the 'A' train (express) or 'C' train (local) heading downtown to Brooklyn. Get off at Jay Street/Metrotech Center. If you get out at the main entrance/exit with the 24hr token booth, you should be coming up via an escalator where you would need to cross the street to be on the same side as the Starbucks and PolyTech/NYU. If you exit via the Brooklyn Promenade/Metrotech entrance/exit, you'll already be on the Starbucks & PolyTech/NYU side. This is Jay Street and it's where you would catch the B57 bus heading to the park. The bus stops right at the park so when you see loads of people and police, you're ready to party.
If you feel like walking the entire way once you get off at Jay Street/Metrotech, then walk down Jay Street to Tillary Street. Make a right turn on Tillary Street and walk past the police checkpoint to Flatbush Avenue Extension. Cross (with caution) Flatbush Avenue Extension and stay on Tillary past the firehouse and towards the highway (BQE). The park is under the highway.
