trust bust the health insurance companies.
no to negotiating prices down because that doesn't actually lower costs it just screws actual health providers. yes to comprehensive "one-stop-shopping" medical complexes like the Mayo Clinic. and so on.

I'm too stoopid to understand what the hell the public option is.I assume it means the gov't is going to pay the bill.
All I know is that I get pretty damn good health coverage through my job and that everyone deserves to get decent health coverage.
How that happens...

public option is just an option... it's not single-payer which would mean only the government pays the bill.

i like this video... treats me less like an idiot than robert reich...

but i'unno if its gov't or a huge pool of small insurance companies that should do the bargaining when it comes to costs.

I actually saw the first video and I saw the animated one a while ago. Assuming these videos are accurate, I know have a better understanding of what Obama is trying to do.Though I'm still fuzzy on a lot of other things.
