Hello AfroPunk, how goes it?

Hey everybody,

My name is Rachel and I'm a 22 year old New Jerseyan looking to meet new people. I accidentally stumbled upon this website and I love its message. It's quite refreshing to see that people like US are being represented somewhere. Hopefully, this will eventually lead to more representations of us in film and in the general media. It's also cool to know that I wasn't the only kid in school to be made fun of for "acting white", as absurd as that sounds smh. I'm a complete movie nerd and I love all different types of music but I'm into talking about anything really. So, yea hi! (^_^)

Hi! Yes I LOVE movies. I have a lot of favorites, but to name a few: Blade Runner, Pulp Fiction, Star Wars, Prometheus, Leon, The New World, Marie Antoinette, etc. I really love Sci-fi and fantasy films but also drama, foreign, and period pieces as well. The most recent period piece I have seen was Jane Eyre, I've seen many adaptations of this book but this was my favorite. It had a much darker, gothic feel which is exactly how the book felt. Which are your favorites?
