high five or no high five
A female friend of mine from back up north told me today that a guy i used to be friends with had been arrested and charged for raping a 14 year old girl in September
i used to go to high school with him, had classes with him, and hell i even lived with him for a month when i first dropped out of school. but he, like a lot of people, knew i liked feet and sorta mocked/condemned me for it. considering i was desperate for friendship, i just took it.
what struck me was that i could've saw this coming, but didn't think it would be this far. one time when i lived with him, he woke me up at 2am to go with and meet some girl, who were 15 at the time, who lived in Michigan and hang out. i went along and just sat in the car, and don't remember the rest of the night as i feel asleep.
but the point of the story is, of the handful of people i was "friends" with in school, 2 were picked up on rape, 1 is in on arson, and those 3 were always more well "received" then me, who's only crime of any sort was being open about feet
so, i don't really know how to take the news. if i should be happy that i proved him wrong, or sad that he's in jail and ruined a girls live. either way, for some reason, it makes me feel a bit worse about me liking feet
idk what to make of what i wrote, i've just been in a strange mood all day and was wondering if there's anyway to make of this situation or myself in general.

"Normal" and "well received" people are the ones to watch out for generally (the killers and rapists are always the ones who seem the most "normal"). Just because someone is "odd" and "alienating" does not make them a terrible person. The "normie" could be much, much more of a terrible person like your friend. Just because you're not well received doesn't make you a rapist. Actually raping people does.

well, just the fact that he was a lot more well liked then i was. i can always remember that whenever i thought of it. this all happened 2 months ago and some of my friends assumed i had known, but i didn't.

Not sure why any of that would make you feel bad about liking feet. Nothing wrong with it. It's a very common fetish. Besides, I think most guys can appreciate a girl with well kept feet, and vise versa from what I hear. I personally love when girls wear red toe nail polish. Shit's hot!

first let me say this...a foot fetish is nothing even close to raping someone. The two do not even exist on the same level. Raping someone is an act of violence period while digging feet is well, just a fetish. Now if you were to take your lil fetish to new heights and say bait some hapless young girl w/a pair of manolo's in order to take advantage of her, you'd be setting yourself up to soon be cellmates w/your lame assed compatriot.
Don't be down on yourself for digging feet...they can be quite nice and count yourself lucky that that's the only vice you have or are willing to speak of.

well, it's just the fact i was open about it. i assume being good looking would've made things better. but being made fun of for it and being called a perv for it, it just stuck with me. so whenever i think about what just happened, i can't stop thinking about what happened back then.
