You could start a Men's group dealing with our issues...

1st topic - what's up with Tiger? Doesn't he know how to play the game - really basic mistakes he made with his squeeze on the side hustle...

I've not yet read up on his affairs; just getting past my shame for taking sudden interest in the stories I've heard.

There should be a men's forum. I wondered about this when I first joined the site; after perusing a few strings, I realized why there wasn't one. And depending on whom you ask, I'm sure someone would tell you that all the discussion strings "belong" to the men, except for the ones erected for the sake of exclusion...

I can only imagine the flame-war clusterfuck it will become, but I think we should create one.

Besides the basic infidelity/hurting your spouse and fam issues, are you saying he could have operated with more stealth and avoided being the Mark Sanford of 12/09? Inquiring minds want to know. An anonymous regular person can travel on business or just drive to another location and be someone else. Tiger Woods is Tiger Woods everywhere.

With all that I've heard I'm surprised the lid was on for as long as it was. I feel a little guilt laughing as much as I have at his voicemail and texts, but it's not so much mockery as it is cognitive dissonance. Like finding your parents listening to Slayer. Nobody's perfect.

LOL good one
I'm foul, bro. I want a men's forum but not one of those joints you got to join. Just a page, nothing exclusive. I'm too lazy to research hooking it up, too. Anybody else wanna take the reigns on this one?

So, when you say "forum", do you mean a group, discussion folder, or a discussion string.

Also, what about a name?
I mean like "Punks Meet Punks" or "Random Shit" or "Feminism Gender Issues" pages there needs ot be a "Men's Forum". See you know traffic is gonna increase because women will look at it then shit on it in the "Feminism Gender Issues". That's a win-win.

Hi guys, thanks for your suggestions.
A few questions:
Why not use the "Gender Issues" section? Would you really like a separate section? Or could we just add the words "Men's Issue" to the title of the "Gender Issues" section?
I'm just trying to understand why you think we should separate.
Thanks,
Lou
The gender issues is for geneder issues. I'm not conflicted about being a man. besides it says feminism. They need their spot we need ours too.

Basically... I figure when you are a billionare, you'd have some advsors who would tell you either don't go fooling around on your wife - or - if you are going to cheat , this is how you do it. It always trips me out too when these cats get busted, you see the other woman and you just wanna shake 'ol boy - you were willing to risk it all for that busted chick?

But back to the initial topic, Kifaru just e-mail the "Afropunk" link and ask 'em for a dedicated men's issues thread and see what they say.

My Mom had the same reaction to his choices. I'm guessing the dude just grew up tightly reigned in some sort of golf bootcamp, didn't have a lot of experiences with short or long term relationships, and now he's basically a 9 digit rockstar... a rubber band snapping back. The only "problem" is that he made a commitment to his wife and kids. It's not fair to them.
On the T Woods debabcle. You cannot be rich and get away with cheating and a lot of times you can't be just average and get away with it. You got a lot of things going here.

Firstly you got the thing in human nature that puts material wealth above everything else. People will throw everthing out the window including their morals and privacy if the price is right and the negative repurcussions are not there. Twenty years ago being in a sex tape was a scandal now it's a way to get a book deal. The same thing with being in an affair with a rich married man. These types of women aren’t content with being kept anymore. They are like "Fuck that doling me out $20,000 bucks at a time shit. I'm about to break this story and get about 2 mil when I hit the talk show circuit and get this book deal, motherfucker. Then I can afford to fuck who I like.”

The next thing is star power. I have had a few fine women. I have had a few freaks. They all wanted commitment and I had to chase them. I have not had fine freaks with no strings attached that I did not have to chase. Let me put this to you. How long are you going to be able to resist when you have women who are certified 10's walking up to you and straight up offereing to themselves to you? "Tiger, you are so funny. Tiger, I thought you would be stuck up but you are so nice. Tiger how would like me to suck your balls and the slurp every drop of cum out of your cock while you're watching T.V.?" Come on! Dick stroked and ego stroked at the same time. Who doesn’t like that? Especially when this cat is out on the road and his wife is tripping about flying in and giving him some sex.

Finally pussy has power. Ask Elliot Spitzer. Ask Mark Sanford. Ask Kobe Bryant. Ask Magic Johnson. Every one of those men risked it all to just get a little on the side. I don't know many men who would not cheat if they thought they could get away with it. The guys who wouldn't are definitely in the minority. That is something that many if not most men struggle with.
