... the other Black experience

In a perfect world if you could be with your peeps...

If suddenly a situation arose where you could up and move to a major city which houses alot of AP people, you had a place to stay and a job lined up, would you go?

uhm, family matters most for me...chosen and luckily for me biological, so i will go where they go if i had a place to stay and a job lined up and it's in a major city.

Maybe if I befriended someone on here and became close. It's too risky to move to someplace where there's alot of like minded people. Sure we like the same things but it doesn't mean we'll like each other.

i do admit though, that i would really love to be a part of an intentional community and bring my family w/ me there, but honestly... i don't know just yet, i have to focus on getting grounded and stable w/in myself and then focus on growing community the way i'd like to see it around me.  y'know that whole "be the light" stuff.

also ap doesn't mean automatic acceptance and paradise. sadly.

I'd stay if folks AP that I mutually got along with lived in my area, it would be nice to regularly meet up with socially and even work with on collaborative creative projects (be it music fashion art etc etc anything anything) together.  I'd love that.

I'd still want my own place to live though cause I need to balance out people time with Rosenda time to keep my soul right.

I've never deliberate joined any such group, if I got good connection with people, it's because it just happened naturally.

So you're saying you would prefer to be involved in a cult anywhere. Creepy.
