This movie kicked ass (yep, it did).

Btw, there is a black frenchmen in the movie.

To make it simply for me and others, put it like this: Let's say a filmmaker chooses to make a love story set in a suburban area (sort of like Jason & Kyra) and the two main charcters are black. Now on the outside it's not the same old baby mama drama stuff, but more like on that whole notebook/cosby style of movie. Only problem is no black people, 5 times out of 10 (unless they're "cultured") are gonna see it. Why? Because they can't RELATE to it. As same for all those hood movies, the cultured blacks aren't/don't feel it because they can't relate.

What I'm trying to say is, you got give your community something that grasp their attention and at the same time give them something they've never seen before.

I don't consider this movie to fall into the category of that Mall Cop one.

I'm not completely sure i wanna see such a thing being done at the hands ov the same people who, decades later, would just beat the world over the head with the guilt-hammer ov the Holocaust, using it as an excuse to do the same shit to the Palestinians.
So yeah, i'm alittle conflicted about watching this film.

You're joking, right? I think you can watch an over-hyped, commercial movie without exploding.

If a jewish director wants to make a revenge flick, stop "motherfuckin" hatin', that's all I'm saying. If Jewish people want to complain stop "motherfuckin" hating and take care of your own business if tribalism is what you so desire.

And anyone who wants to spin that "jews are getting a free pass" stuff what they're really saying is "jews get special treatment cause they control everything". And that's pussy foot anti-semitism. Try to be less tribal (it leads to bigoted thoughts whether they are intended to be so or not) in your view of the world and think more in terms of consequences of the rules and regulations of society.

It's true that Jews get handled with kiddie gloves but we live in a society where "jew" is either a racial/cultural/religious description OR a derogatory insult. not to mention they are still viewed as sneaky and getting free rides (like you just implied). To act as if they have a free pass and minimize the reality is to be a typical "black people are the only people who's problems matter" bigot. Racism from blacks is the hardest to handle.

Don't be so tribal is all I'm asking. The world is not a game of tribes. People to act that way.

Hunh Mlle.? Is Tarantino Jewish? Haha, come on. I don't care how many Jewish-themed films come out, it's all good whether it's 'jewploitation' or not.

MUNICH was an excellent film about a real event that presented Jews as heroes (and as villians to an extent), same as MIRACLE AT ST. ANNA. What was good about both films is that they were realistic (with some dramtic license), interesting and entertianing. 'Inglorious' may be entertaining, I'll have to see. But I ain't trying to stop anybody from making films and it's hilarious fo think anybody but Jews could top them from making films about themselves.

As DJ Random Brotha said, nobody should be weighed down with representing the views of a whole race or group. But some filmmakers deserve abetter shot than their given.
