Glad to see many new members posting and saying hello. I nicked this idea from a few other message boards after seeing the multiple introduction threads.

Tell us where you are from, what you like, etc. etc. Be as detailed or as vague as you like. Old School black board members please post as well; the new folks may not be acquainted.

Interests: Building a new temple in the ashes of the last one, Speed Metal, Complaining about current rap, trading and investing, the magic of cooking.

Hello all. My name's Kasheena. I'm from New York, but am a resident of Kentucky now. I listen to a variety of music, but love metal, reggae, and dubstep. I have a sweet one year old son and a rad husband of 6 years. I'm here to meet new people, blog, and relate to other outcasts.

I'm so happy to have found this wonderful site. After looking around it seems like a great community and valuable resource.

A little bit about about myself - I'm 26 years old and am of mixed background. I grew up in a predominantly white neighborhood that never really understood (or completely accepted) the fact that my personality and tastes were so much like their own. With that being said, I grew up feeling uncomfortable and out of place. Though I still feel that way sometimes, I'm a lot better than I used to be. But because of this, I've always had a little bit of trouble being able to express myself the way I wanted to. I'm sure seeing everyone's posts through the various forums will be a great inspiration to me.

I love film and music (It looks like many of you do too). I'm an amateur filmmaker and I co-run a small online business called Mysterian Media. I look forward to being here and thank you for reading the post!
