Is 'The Cure' a dogma for Black] Emos ?

As I listen just some 'The Cure' stuff around singer and songwriter Robert Smith, I asked myself, why a whole scene here in postfascist Europe since 1976 started by this artificial form of emotainment a black clothes experience, and why all this was labelled as 'gothic' - indeed -  German high corporeal media outlets try to prepare a new wave of 'new romantics' as 'hipsters' as you've already seen on the streets near you.

I like this form of emotainment. Whats about you?
