Japanese Hair Straightening aka Thermal Reconditioning

What's your opinion? Is this a healthier option for black women than sodium hydroxide relaxers?

Anything that manipulates the follicles of your hair, or even the surface, deserves to be in one place...the trash. These methods thin your hair and permanently damage your God-given curl pattern.

I'm anti-straighteners.

I'd say that I'm more against having society force women to get straighteners. I see nothing wrong with wanting a change of hairstyle just for its own sake.
