Mariah Carey made a triumphant return Wednesday to real-time television with a passionate performance of her new breakup song on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
It was the first live public performance for the 46-year-old pop star since her disastrous NYE appearance in Times Square that was cut short due to audio issues.
Mariah performed her breakup song I Don't in a red gown with plunging neckline before a studio audience in Hollywood.
She belted out the song featuring rapper YG that first premiered last month on her E! docuseries Mariah's World amid her breakup from her former fiance, Australian billionaire James Packer.
YG hit the stage first looking sharp in a white jacket and matching trousers and was soon joined by Mariah who sparkled with her dangling hoop earrings, bracelets and necklace.
Mariah reached her signature high notes during her spirited performance and afterward gave a shout out to YG as she clapped and smiled.
The singer ended her NYE performance early after technical issues and then blamed Dick Clark Productions saying on social media, 'They foiled me'.$
