Just heard about it. I'm not sad and I basically 'disowned' him the last few years, but I will choose to remember the good Michael. The Michael who filled my life with some joy back in the day.

Jesus is dead, christians praise him everyday... Why? What the fuck did Jesus really do that can be proven as facts right?
So I guess you were there when Michael Jackson was fucking that kid, taking pictures, recording video, yet you didn't show up to the court? There is something called reasonable doubt and without it I could pick you up off the street and have your ass thrown in a cell to rot for life with no actual proof of the shit I accused you of. I feel like my brother just died and in many respects he has. A brother who I may not have seen in a while but whom I loved nonetheless. He's left me with many abiding memories most good, which is a pretty decent return when you consider it.
Oddly one line which sticks with me is from the Three KIngs movie, starring George Clooney and Ice Cube. An Iraqi officer is interrogating a US soldier (played by Mark Walberg as I remember) and he begins to talk about Micheal Jackson and says,.
"What is the problem with Michael Jackson?" "Your country make him chop up his face." He did it to himself, the American soldier protests, but his interrogator insists: "Michael Jackson is pop king of sick fu**cking country."
When I read the comments of BlackJeff and Darkness I can only sympathise with the Iraqi. A man is dead, okay you may be p*** off/not understand other people's reaction but to shit on his grave in order to make your point is f***ing low. I turned to AP today to tune into some love (or al least intelliegent debate) fom my brothers and sisters from across the pond (mainly) and now realise I must have come to the wrong place.

I respect the fact that a lot of y'all are fans of Michael Jackson. That's cool. I never questioned that. All I was trying to say is that the dude was f'ed up. You can't deny it. I think we're all forgetting that Michael wasn't convicted but was and will forever be tainted by the child molestation charges guilty or not. His career never recovered from it. And towards the end of his life he was nothing but a tabloid joke. I mean, I didn't gain or lose anything when I said rest in peace.
