MOM tattoo's?! What would your mother think?
Gone are the days of the heart with the ribbon style 'Mom' tattoos, but what's in its place now? A lot of stuff I suppose, but the closer I get to creating and getting a tattoo for my Mom (yes. she's still alive) the more I wonder about what others have gotten for their dear ol' Mum's!
I'm thinking about getting a spool of thread with a sewing needle stitching stitching the word 'Mom' into my skin.... and maaayyybe a small drop of blood at the end of the needle. My Mom happens to love sewing and craftie things so I think I'm gonna go with this idea.
Before i go under the gun I'd like to hear some other ideas you have for 'Mom' tattoos or anything you might have seen that was so good you'd slap your actual mama. If end up using one of your ideas on my tattoo I will credit you when I post the picture.

I love your idea for the tat! You should def stick with that...my aunt used to run with a few members of the black panthers back in the days...she always about the empowerment of black people and still is...so her daughter just recent got a side profile of her mother with an afro and a small red heart on the neck of the tattoo...she got it on her forearm and my aunts bday is tomorrow and my cousin is going to reveal it to her...i think its the best mom tattoo ive seen so far...

Wow! That's a sweet idea! I just realized that your most recent tattoo is sewing imagery too. I guess that makes you a little biased but I ain't mad atcha! lol! I'm curious as to how the tattoo artist did your nieces tat..... mothers day is coming up soon huh? Maybe I should surprise my mom with a tat?

maybe a little bit...just a lil biased lol but its a awesome way to show your love for your mom...Im gonna ask my cousin to send a pic so i can post it here...its solid black with the little red heart...but i know if my son got a tattoo to rep me and showed me it on mothers day I'd cry tears of joy lol not a bad idea at all

I just called an audible on my Mom's tattoo. I'm going to go with a swan possibly holding sewing needles. I'll post pics tomorrow after I'm done!
