AFRO-PUNK

... the other Black experience

I'm looking for new hair styles for natural hair. My creativity has run out and I wanted to know if anyone had any neat hairstyles for natural ladies!

I also was curious if anyone knew any good natural hair blogs that they want to recommend.

Those are my favorites and the most useful to me. :)

You can also get hairstyle ideas by typing in an image search of a style name into bing.com or google or yahoo, etc.

Like when I typed in the name "bantu knots", it also led me to some other cute hairstyles ideas. Good luck!
Thanks! I love nappturality and I'm going to check out motowngirl next :)
I don't really know a lot of sites but just from a google search of "black natural hair styles" I once found this cool site about how to grow it out and style it. I might try and find it again.

I'm fresh out of ideas.
i like http://www.youtube.com/user/LexiWithTheCurls

I stalk Le Coil all the time. Tons of hotness on there.
Those photographs are beautiful. Makes me happy to experiment with my hair and just be cool with the unpredictability of my Natural hair.

if anybody has any hair products recipes and styles that are truly legit please email me at funnyhugz@gmail.com , i just did the big chop feburary 2011

I'm still playing with mine since 2001 but check out http://www.motowngirl.com for some really good basic ideas and recipes.  Organic Root Stimulator "Lock and Twist Gel" is great stuff.  Congrats on your big chop.  http://www.nappturality.com was also an early lifesaver for me too.  Also a local friend and hairdresser who was willing to do my early flat twists w/ attachments early on, til my hair grew out more and I got comfortable with it.  She didn't tell me "girl you got too much hair to press, it'd be easier to relax it" , she just said when I told here what I thought I wanted, "give me a couple weeks to practice and get it right, and we'll do it."  I had all kinds of ideas and still do, and she is always down with me and what I want to do and she's reasonable.  It's really someone who wants to help you live your dream of style.
