Permalink Reply by Rosenda on May 20, 2011 at 8:26pm I'm still playing with mine since 2001 but check out http://www.motowngirl.com for some really good basic ideas and recipes. Organic Root Stimulator "Lock and Twist Gel" is great stuff. Congrats on your big chop. http://www.nappturality.com was also an early lifesaver for me too. Also a local friend and hairdresser who was willing to do my early flat twists w/ attachments early on, til my hair grew out more and I got comfortable with it. She didn't tell me "girl you got too much hair to press, it'd be easier to relax it" , she just said when I told here what I thought I wanted, "give me a couple weeks to practice and get it right, and we'll do it." I had all kinds of ideas and still do, and she is always down with me and what I want to do and she's reasonable. It's really someone who wants to help you live your dream of style.
