All I can say, it's about damn time!!! Last night truly was a historic event and I am so fortunate to be able to witness it. The Bloor Cinema (in Toronto) was broadcasting the election results and it was PACKED. Every seat was filled, people were sitting in aisles. The whole place went absolutely nuts (including myself). The funniest thing was that when our election in Canada happened, no one even cared.

Congratulations!!! Now, unfortunately, for us in Canada, we're stuck with Stephen Harper (shudder)....want to trade leaders?!? :-)

I wish I could put into words how proud, relieved and positive I feel now. No big open air parties here in the UK but many smiles, handshakes, warm words and a few fireworks let off in celebration in the backyard tonight.
