Punk Project Help!
Hello all :) I joined this because it seems like a great way to interact with others and I would really appreciate if I got some help with this as it's for a class in college. My topic is about all about Punk, Tattoos, and Piercings (what it is, what the culture is like, what it means to be punk, etc).
If you're interested in helping me please answer these questions with as much detail as possible! The more I get the better it will be :) Also, when answering please message me on here or at eesiepiechamryn@yahoo.com with your first name and last name initial if you choose to copy/paste these questions onto a document.
1. To you, what does it mean to be punk (is there a certain way you need to dress, style your hair, music to listen to, how you act socially)?
2. Do you think that getting tattoos/piercings are important to get? Why or why not?
3. What are the misconceptions of the punk culture?
4. For dressing as you do, do you get shunned a lot by mainstream society?
5. Is it difficult for you to get a job? If yes, explain why to your knowledge. If no, please explain where your work and its environment.
6. What made you interested in this culture and how has it changed you?
7. What is your lifestyle like (as in how might it be different compared to a more mainstream lifestyle)?
8. How are drugs integrated into this culture? NOTE: If you use them I won't put your name into this project if you don't want it to be. This question is just to get a better understanding of the usage of drugs.
9. What are your religious beliefs and do you attend service?
10. What are the best bands (in your opinion)?
11. For those tattoo enthusiasts, what do you think of the tattoo shows shown on television like Kat Von D's, or Miami Ink?
12. For piercing enthusiasts, what makes a person want to get piercings?
13. How many piercings/tattoos do you have? What do they mean to you (are the tattoos meaningful or did you get them because they look awesome)?
14. How did punk culture begin and how has it evolved?
15. What are your political beliefs? This can be about anything such as: legalizing weed, for/against gay marriage, etc. If there is an issue you feel strongly about please be detailed in answering!

Funny, I have another month to do it and I'm getting started now because it's lengthy.
If you don't want to answer all the questions, only answering a few would still be a tremendous help.
