out of curiousity i just stretched my hair to see how long it is now and it touches the top of my back. eight months natural and counting WOOHOO !
im so glad i have three consecutive days in a row of training at my new job .
today was awesome, went to the street fair listened to a live cuban band, ate with my friend, and picked up some cool africa shaped earrings . things are going swell !
i love brooklyn , wouldn't live anywhere else .

Today, the kiddies and I went to Black Family Day back on my old college campus. They loved it! I got them up to dance with me during the live music. We were the only ones dancing. Black folks didn't want to get down like us. They are turning out just like they mama: free spirited, not caring about others' thoughts about them, and nerdy. *sigh* Life is great.

That brotha from Ghana was mad spittin. And the horn section was to die for. I danced my Black ass off.
