= Finally got rid of that old furniture. The large trash pick-up wasn't expensive at all. Thanks to my friends for the first phase of helping me move my stuff.
= Don't know what's next but I'm relieved to get this stage done. A few more steps unloading things.
= Going to get storage and organize my stuff. Throw a lot out.
= Seeing my girlfriend tomorrow.
= Weather's getting better.

= 99% done with the move. Just need a new spot.
= Got the nasty crawlspace cleaned out ALONE with trash that has defintely been down there rotting since the 60's at least. That was some Mt. Everest right there.
= Stuff packed tight into the storage. May be hard to get through but it's in there.
= New writing contest to try. Will dig scripts out.
= Seeing mi amor tomorrow. Might check the Marley doc.
= Bad Brains / GZA show was off the damn chain! The GZA/Genius rocked it and Master Killa came on too, wild seeing white mohawked punkrockers screaming "when emcees came, to live out the name..." from Liquid Swords. And Brains just tore the spot down from "Attitude", "Soulcraft", "I Love I-Jah", "At The Movies" etc. One of the best shows I've ever seen. Got my PMA!
= Nervous but excited about the next move. I'm ready...

I treated my mom to breakfast this morning. I love her so much. Our relationship is so healthy and strong and loving. *sigh* We talked and talked and laughed and talked. (Okay, as an educator, I just love that I'm using the word 'and' over and over incorrectly in a series!!!) We even talked about my love making from last night. I told her all about how I got on top, which I rarely do. And she just laughed and said, "guuuurl". Yep. My mom.

= Connected with my man at the right time. I didn't have a roof and he needed a boarder to cover some bills & I happened to have a bit of ends. This was the universe talking loud 'cause I was just parked outside a potential place waiting for the landlord when bro called; fortunately the landlord was late and the spot looked shifty so I left.
For these past nights me bro have speaking, building on everything from politics to women. Even though his spot needs serious housework I am too thankful to have this shelter with a cool cat. And yesterday when he was left out after some folks did him wrong on some biz far from home, I was able to ride out & pick him up. And dude is a computer techie who's gonna help me with my pc. Karma justice is being served properly, I am apprecative.
= Missed a call from my friend I had a difference with. I'm gonna call and let him know it's all good. Amid the conflict, we still bros.
= Made lunch today (which I never do) and it was the bomb. Sandwich had eg roast beef, mushrooms, hot sauce, sazon seasoning, and a banana & blueberries with snack bar. Damn good.

OMIGOD I HAD SO MUCH FUN OUT WITH LYN AND MY MOCA FRIENDS THE PAST TWO WEEKENDS AT THE TRANSMISSION LA/AVANT GARDE DIARIES MUSIC AND ART EVENTS!!
That shit was cool. Finally got to see Aloe Blacc and his band live, they are TIGHT AND FUNKY.
Danced so hard for all those six nights my thighs and feet were killing me and my neck was sore.
Even when I felt old and out of place I still enjoyed the HELL out of myself. So glad you came with me Lyfenlyn!!
Had NO idea both Thom Yorke AND Fat Lip from the Pharcyde were both KILLER FUNKY DJ's puttin down the music
AAAAAAAAAND: EGYPTIAN LOVER KILLED IT!!!!!!!! Even our security chief was rockin' and said: "now, THAT'S real music!!" Had so much fun with the bass and the beat.
Met this nice sweet young sister who reached out to me one of the two nights that I went there alone.
She said her father is on our security force and she is a performer named Poetic who also teaches in after school programs. She said some interesting stuff about her close buddy Scatterbrain. I remember that name from somewhere but I don't know where. Maybe from Art In The Streets! And while we were listening to some great music, our director came up and said hi. What a nice suprise. He was totally nodding his head to the mellow beats of DJ Harvey and James Murphy when I was on my way out. Nice to see him enjoying himself.
GOT A NEW CAR: A BEAUTIFUL BLACK WITH WHITE TOP AND WHEELS 4-DOOR COOPER COUNTRYMAN!!
Planned and worked hard to get the new car. It was not easy but I did it right!!
