Persia White, probably better known as Lynn from the tv show Girlfriends, remade Billie Holiday's Strange Fruit. Now I usually dont like remakes of the classics because I fell like they lose theyre depth and meaning but Miss Persia White did a FINE job of preserving the classic and reintroducing the blues to the world. The tempo has changed but the vibe is the same. My bandana's off to you!
