Hi everybody,
We would love to know who your favorite local hardcore bands are!
It would be great to have a Top 10 for each US state (and from all over the world too!)
So here is the place to post your Top 10.
In your replies, feel free post pictures/artwork, etc.
As an example, here is a list of the Top 10 bands from Boston according to strangereaction.com:

Throwdown Syndicate (not sure if they're considered Hardcore...but, can be intense)

Hardcore fucking sucks, & i find it worrisome that as many as 10 ov them might exist in any given city/state.

...Okay. The thread is called "Top 10 Hardcore Bands From Your City or State!" True, I'm not exactly the biggest fan of hardcore myself (with Bad Brains, Black Flag and The Misfits) being the exception. But, as a musician I can see the musicianship in some of the bands.

Misfits isn't hardcore, they're HorrorPunk. And Bad Brains is Cross-Over.

Yeah, but Horror Punk's roots come out of Hardcore. Also, Bad Brains are considered the Godfathers of Hardcore. The Crossover style came later on.

No, Horror Punk's roots came out ov Punk. But i won't argue with you on the other merits, since early '80's HC was actually pretty good. Hell, even Hatebreed are a good band.
It's mostly this gay, emo, commercial-core bullshit i dis-aprove ov. Like most ov those "bands" in that list ov yours, no offense.
