AFRO-PUNK

... the other Black experience

I'm just a little speechless right now. Can anyone make sense of this for me? I kind of want to crawl into a little sheltered box right now and perhaps an elder AP can slap me into reality.

I just find myself flabbergasted by all parties.

That has to be a joke. It's even on a gothic site. (after looking at it some more, it HAS to be some sort of satire. I mean, one of the poster's location is "amerika"

I remember when I painted my nails black in 6th grade, my friend warned me about being one of those "weird people".

Oh wait! It IS a joke! It is a pro-gothic, anti-"normal" black people, the avatar is a meme.
Okay, I r slow. Sorry. ...hmmm I'm offended both ways. But I know what it's like to have a family member(s) treat you like a loon because you start dressing different. That's why I moved, everyone treated me like I was crazy and demon possessed. I can't even describe that feeling.
A meme, huh? I was insulted regardless but I did wonder if it was indeed meant to be satirical.

I'm lucky enough to have a very accepting mother who is even funding my "crazy" mohawk with eventual "crazy colors" added in.

That is really lucky. All I got was blank stares and stares like I had 3 heads or being treated like my opinion was invalid because I was crazy. I'm really bitter about that shit. ...

I'm doubly offended but at the same time, I understand the angry human humor- I feel the same way; some people need to be mocked and ridiculed. I looked at her other posts on the community and they're hilarious ( to me).
Looks like someone making fun of Black folks exponentially. No subculture is immune.

I have reason to believe that the girl in the "Keisha" pic is the true poster using the Lakita meme.
I'm not quite sure what was goin' on there. Who's the poster? Is it some kind ov dumb joke?
