A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant, and a Prayer By Eve Ensler

Just wrapped up Snuff by Chuck Palahniuk.
Best book, hands down.

Amazing twist and interesting fun facts.
PLUS! I learned almost 40 new terms for 'jerk-off' such as sea monkey sprayer and Ceiling sprayer lmfao.
I liked Survivor the best.

I just finished reading Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. I knew it was a weird book but it definitely was not what I expected. I love how some parts of the world that he creates are a possibility. I mean, maybe not anywhere in the near future, but I have noticed how a lot of younger kids don't like to read or can't read that well due to lack of interest. Everyone would rather text or be on FB. But yeah, it was a really good book. I love weird books like that!

Currently I'm reading A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess. I have no idea if I even like this book yet...it's so hard to read! Burgess uses Nadsat which is a form of Russian-influenced English in his writing. Words like Baboochka and Cheena totally threw me off. It took me forever to figure out what those words meant. Luckily someone has made a dictionary for A Clock Work Orange so hopefully it'll be a little bit easier to read now. :)
yeah, i had the same initial reaction, but once you get used to all the vocab it get's kind of great. same thing happens w/ irvine welsh's trainspotting. i had to read that ish aloud to understand 70% of it.
Ohh I didn't know that was a book! I watched the movie for the first time not too long ago..but I had no idea it was based off of a book. Looks like I'll be taking a trip to a book store soon!

I'm starting to like it now that I've reread the beginning using the little glossary I found. I can't believe how much of the violence I missed because of the slang. Burgess even says in the introduction that that's one of the reasons why he used that slang...to make the book seem less violent..or something like that. O.o....it's scary how bad those kids are.

This is the UK cover. Looks much better than the US one. This book was highly anticipated, as all the other rock debauchery bios mention the authors/subjects partying hard with Mustaine.

Still reading that Weinstein book as well.

If you've ever loved a band or musician enough to do something incredibly stupid, this is the book for you.
THE MASTER KEY SYSTEM - Charles F. Haanel
"Unbought & Unbossed" by Shirley Chisholm. EXCELLENT book. Amazing woman and the book is extremely encouraging, especially if you find yourself in situations where you might have to fight alone.
I just started 1984
Now Im reading The Color Purple by Alice Walker.
