What do you guys think of the new Freddy Krueger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me personally I think that he looks like clay face and Harry Potter's arch nemesis. I love the actor cuz he knows how to act. He was great in Watchmen which by the way I loved!!!!! Its my favorite graphic novel adaption and it was so great that I didn't even care about the ending being different cuz sometimes it can't always be the same....But anyways tell me what you guys think about the upcoming Nightmare on Elm St movie coming out...........You know how I love your comments

I would have to agree with you....Some times I just feel like if your going to remake it then do a damn good job to where we'll be like "Hey I'm just going to take a seat and shut my mouth cuz this is a damn good remake" but sadly that has not happened yet :-(

It cant be worse than Freddy vs. Jason, im actually pretty psyched and i LOVE Jackie Earle Haley (Yay Rorschach!). If anyone can do Freddy justice its him.

Yo, Freddy Vs. Jason was da shit!!! There was no way for that to be anything but a silly fan service movie! LOL!

The casting of Haley in the remake is encouraging to say the least. I think the film looks pretty cool so far, especially the way the setting subtlely changes to signify a dream transition. The only remake from the production company (Platinum Dunes) I haven't liked was THe Hitcher, 'cause that's my heart, right there! That original was great because it was so against the grain compared to other slasher films at the time, and the remake went with the grain of the conventional slasher genre. And the original Nightmare was also very against the grain for its time, so the remake has to be hold to that.

yeah Haley as Freddy is pretty cool...
so was platinum dunes the production company rumored of being interested in doing a Near Dark remake? because The Hitcher remake was pretty awful and a Near Dark remake would go the same way I think...and man, i can just imagine the many ways they'd fuck up casting for a Near Dark remake. :sadface:
