Where Do You Stay?

I'll just dive in and admit to my ignorance, lol! I would love to attend AfroPunk Fest (preferably this year), but there are some hang ups. Where on Earth do we stay? Is it camping or do you have to buddy up with people ahead of time to secure a spot? The tickets are free but you have to be there in time to get them? I'm entirely clueless as this would be my first festival (not just AP, but in general) ever and really didn't see it answered in the FAQ or another thread.

Veterans, please help me out and give me the play by play!

all i know so far is that its not a camping event.....
its in the city....
no idea how much it cost....

From what I gather its going to be at BAM again (Brooklyn Academy of Music) so there should be some areas you can chill for the night
