Geez, who could narrow it down to just one?

“Let me tell you the story of Right Hand, Left Hand. It’s a tale of good and evil. Hate: it was with this hand that Cane iced his brother. Love: these five fingers, they go straight to the soul of man. The right hand: the hand of love. The story of life is this: static. One hand is always fighting the other hand, and the left hand is kicking much ass. I mean, it looks like the right hand, Love, is finished. But hold on, stop the presses, the right hand is coming back. Yeah, he got the left hand on the ropes, now, that’s right. Ooh, it’s a devastating right and Hate is hurt, he’s down. Left-Hand Hate K.o.'d by Love”

This is my dude right here from one of my favorite flicks. The quintessential eccentric mad scientist. I wanna be like him when I grow up.
Juice was the flick comin up. Everything about it was just cool to me at that age. Bishop was Pac. I think he was able to pull the role off so well because Pac himself was a ball of contridictions as was Bishop. Ultimately he was a great villan because you could tell he wasn't pure evil, just confused and kinda fucked up. Part of you wanted him to turn good, but in the end "he didn't know the ledge".
Daria was my cartoon crush.
People sleep on Yoda. He's a wise and peaceful dude. But he still got skills and will get in that ass if you test him.
My stepfather was really into Spencer For Hire. I'd watch it with him sometimes. Hawk always had Spencer's back. He was one of the first strong images of Black males that I remember seeing on TV as a kid. Most of the Black men you saw around that time were either shuckin, jivin' or effeminate. Yes there are funny, goofy and effeminate Black men but not every Black man is such. Hawk was a reminder.
Soundwave was a cool ass mofo. Cool name. Dope ass voice. Hell, all the rappers are tryin' to sound like him now. He always held Megatron down unlike bitch ass Starscream who was always plottin' on Megatron's spot. if Soundwave ever got locked, he wouldn't Snitch. You know Starcream would sing like a bird.
He was the geek that finally got the girl. That's inspiration. And his glasses were cool.

Not really sure why I've a soft spot for Mad Max. Only saw/owned the first movie, but something clicked. Lotta Herman Hesse residue in my head around that time. I do have post-apocalyptic fantasies fairly often; during the last hurricane/outage, half of life (for a lot of people) was simply about where to get gasoline for the day and how long it'll last. I'll own up to having bought a poster a long time ago, but I never bothered to hang it up. Definitely inspiring from a fashion standpoint.![]()
