Who Would Like to go to the AfroPunk Festival 2012 (if it is Still Happening)

Hi y'all, My name is Danielle and I joined this site a few months ago. I live in Maryland. I haven't heard anything yet about Afropunk Festival 2012 but if they decide to do it, would you be interested in going?

I'm in D.C.. I would go with you. We should totally organize a carpool or something this year. A group of us not just from this area but from all over were gonna link up and go last year but Hurricane Irene ruined everything. I'm definetely trying to go this year. I guess will have to wait and see what happens.

Okay I still got my airplane credit to use for this year, since last year got cancelled, gotta line up the dates and find out where it's gonna be, so I can choose a reasonable hotel near there.

Sorry for the slow reply, March was a busy month for me. Yeah, it would be great if we can get together. I still haven't seen anything official on the web but www.festheads.com placed a projected date of August 25th and 26th. I agree that we should do a carpool. Hit me back when you're free.

According to festheads.com, those are the projected dates. I wish there was an official annoucement. Time is flying by.
