Why is it only okay for guys to look at porn?
I why is it only natural for GUYS to look at porn, ladies like it too! I think its natural for ANYONE to be turned on by it. I am!! So why is it considered unnatural for me because I just happen to be a girl? if its soo bad then why is it okay of anyone to watch porn? Why does there have to be such a double standard??

it's not ok that women "don't like" porn. i think it's complete bullshit when somebody says they don't like porn. they may not want to watch it all the time, but they "like" it. those are the people that are probably meek in the bedroom, too. most women have aggressive and powerful sex drives just like most men. males with perfectly healthy, non-deviant sexdrives get placed in a "sleazy" category if they get too public with their pornographic inclinations. women with those inclinations are probably deemed lascivious by more "proper" women - i rarely talk about porn with men or women so i can't say what women say about women. i think that the double standard comes from the old standby - it'll lead to "fornication" & FORNICATION IS WRONG (especially if you're female). maybe it comes from the idea that women that fornicate end up with another mouth to feed (ie unwed with child) i don't know. this guy kifaru (AP member) posted some ideas about porn that are on point that are relevant to this discussion:

Porn let's you know what you ain't getting and I know I'm not the only guy out there that has said "I want to try that" and went out, searched for it and did it. At times that kept me from being willing to commit.

Now it is and I correlate it with porn.
I never use porn when I can get my needs met in a relationship and to me that means that porn is a surrogate for a relationship and that too is not healthy.
Porn is addictive for a lot of people. There is no way to know what a person's tolerance is for it. The guy who gets caught on his job looking at porn is not acting rationally.
I don't think anybody should feel guilty about things that stimulate them because that's human. I'm just saying that just like anything else that's stimulation it has a high potential for abuse."

theres nothing unnatural about girls watching porn. theres a big mistake made in thinking guys are against girls watching it. on the contrary, us guys are turned on by chicks who dig porn, because it actually alludes that you LIKE SEX. the only reason its seen as "weird", is because women always act as if porn (hell sex) is just sooooo beneath them. they turn their heads up at guys for watching porn, but then they go home and stick objects that plug into the wall up themselves. and us men are depraved? please. you ladies trying to disprove this theory. the next time you're in the mood and wanting to engage in a test, tell the guy you're with to put on something from his stash (us guys all have one). then watch in shock and awe as his face lights up like a kid on the fringe of Christmas morning. LoL

My boyfriend looks at porn...he gets all bashful when I talk about it. I watch it. I enjoy watching it...hell I used to work in a porn store. I've seen it all. He gets so up in arms when I talk about it or when I sorta poke at him about it. I'm like dude...get over it.

I think many "prudish" women have classy sex standards. It has to look like a 1950s French art flick for them to appreciate it and I agree. The stuff made nowaday is virtually like shitty reality tv outtakes or wwe promos. trash quality leads to trash reputation.

I hear so many women on campus, at concerts, in bars talk about porn and no one scolds them. In fact Ive heard women talk about the anatomy (and performance) of other female porn stars, getting into descriptive details about oral sex techniques, clitoral piercings and which female porn stars can mount males with the largest "members." Why there be a double standard for something that is based on prurient, raw fetish desires. Thats like saying crime is only okay for males, lol

Sometimes, a night with the Hitachi Magic wand and a good porn makes me a very relaxed woman. Sometimes my boyfriend and I like to have sex while watching a video especially if it's a really nasty one where the girls are getting ass fucked because its the closest he's going to get that shit from me. He can fuck me normally and watch other chicks getting slammed in the ass, no problem with me.

Funny 'cause I recently got my hard drive cleaned (no pun intended, ha) and thought I lost the clips I had. But I found in a folder so I've been "reviewing" them.
It's all good in my opinion for women & men but again like junk food, moderation and 'calorie counting'; be aware of what's going in and how it's effecting you. And lean towards a more safe, natural 'diet'.

maybe i am the only one, but i don't find porn very interesting so i don't care for it . call me a prude or whatever the hell you want . i don't knock other women and men who watch it tho, sex is a part of life . i just don't watch it, because i don't feel the need to . most of it is cheesy anyway, i don't find that entertaining .
