AFROPUNK alum Jorja Smith has had her plate full recently. Having just announced a US tour starting in April, the British songstress also just nagged the BRITs Critics Choice Award, a well-deserved solidification of her burgeoning place on the music scene.

Now she’s back with two tracks from a Spotify Singles session at Metropolis Studios in London. The first is a version of a single she wrote at 16 but just put out earlier this year, “Teenage Fantasy”, and the second is a hauntingly beautiful cover of Frank Ocean’s “Lost” from the album Channel Orange.

Taking the already meditative track to new heights, Smith’s “Lost” is as nostalgic as it is ethereal, reminding us what magic can happen when a brilliant musician brings their talent to the work of another musical genius. One can only hope for a legit collaboration soon!

Take a listen to Smith’s take on “Lost” below!
