AFRO-PUNK

... the other Black experience

I just got my hands on WOW after a friend of mine pocked and prodded and suggested (demanded) that I try it out. I haven't installed it yet, but I've been playing it on their account...

I'm getting hooked, and that's a hard thing to do. I don't know how to say it, but I might even give up Final Fantasy 11 for WOW.... (both being MMORPS's with monthly fees...)

In any case, what are you playing?

GTA 4. I beat it already, but lets be honest. Who doesnt love rampaging the streets causing a shit ton of collateral damages for hours on end?
My dad bought a copy of Vice City Stories a few years back. He games, too, but usually on sports and adventure games. This one really surprised me. He's a super-serious retired corporate exec (with some serious Motown in him).

I finally asked him about it, and he smiled like a kid who's been caught doing something he wasn't supposed to.

His answer: "Well, I can't do this stuff in real life...."

*laughs*
Hahahaha trust me I totally know what he means.
i'm not as big of a gamer as i used to be, but i def still like to play from time to time.

i've always been a fan of the GTA's & am definitealy addicted to the newest one.

it's seriously one of the best games to play especially when you're pissed off & wanna let out some aggression too haha. or maybe that's just me. Halo 3 is pretty awesome too.
Nah Ive always thought GTA was like therapy within itself lol. I used to play Halo 3 all the time , and then Call of Duty 4 for a while.
I been playin some old shit:

Contra
Double Dragon III
The Legend Of Kirby
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out
The Warriors
Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm

& the rest of my "game" time is spent in Secondlife
I'm a total rom and emulator fiend.
I'm kind of like the Olmec head when it comes to games. I have been playing a lot of tetris along with a little bit of age of empires. The games I see advertised on TV just look like movies. Pretty incredible. If the games would have been this ill when I was really into them(Atari 2600 era) an intervention might have been necessary.

I'm looking forward to playing Rainbow Six Vegas one day, but I haven't even finished Vice city or Viewtiful Joe yet. The good thing about moving at a prehistoric pace in terms in terms of games is that by the time I get around to getting a new one that interests me it's available used for 5.00.
@ Blaqmetal...what's funny about me & GTA: SA is I used some cheats like super high jump & dressed up CJ like a superhero w/ the clothes from all the different stores...made him a vigilante
*dabbling in all of the final fantasy titles
*ikari warriors (NES)
*Devil may cry 4 (xbox 360)
*the legend of zelda: a link to the past (SNES)
*Donkey kong country (SNES)
* the legend of zelda: links awakening (GBC)
*Guitar hero 1,2,and 3 (PS2)
and thats it for now
Guitar Hero 3, Ninja Gaiden 2 (and it's kickin my ass but I love it!), Too human demo, Virtua Fighter 5 (off and on), Soul Calibur 2 (getting ready for part 4! Yeah!!), and Bomberman Live.

Sadly, lack of funds is putting a dent into my gaming, but somehow I will get through it. I miss all the RPG's I used to play *sigh*
