AFRO-PUNK

... the other Black experience

Oi, what up people's I want to meet you all and hang out some time some place. I feel the community aspect is being lost around certain places and want to bring it back. I remember when James use to have a picnic for folks to meet up during the festival I want to bring that back. For awhile know I've seen the scene change and grow, with the proliferation of mass media effect to a degree ie the Rihanna's and Kanye's of the world and fo-hawks and such but I digress, some folks who attended the shows dont even know that there was a documentary that started this whole thing. So i'm putting my flag down and telling people to stand with me for community. Any takers, any brave souls with ideas?

I'm with you too. Been around the site since the original and tho I never close my acct., I do take time from it feeling further out of place when this should be the last area for that. Finding ppl lose value and fall into image and biases more. I wanna meet you and the rest as well. Have car or transportation, will travel. And if you wanna have a gathering less commercialized and all about good energy, I'll assist as well
Thanks for replying. Yeah I just want to gather up some folks like in the old days. LOL. We all didn't know each other or knew of each other and would just hang out. after the show "where's the after party" random person hey I heard of a roof top party in the burg let go" or "hey some dude is having a house party" and we'll just drag who ever else was around with us we didn't know who you are or where your from but you where there and you belonged there.
